Continue on to the beautifully preserved Roman Amphitheatre, a 6,000-seat venue carved directly into the hillside, still used today for cultural events and performances.

You’ll also explore two fascinating museums: the Jordan Archaeological Museum, housing artefacts dating back thousands of years, and the Folklore Museum, which provides a glimpse into traditional Jordanian crafts, attire, and daily life.

Day 03 Jerash, Ajloun Castle & the Dead Sea – Through Roman Roads to Nature’s Healing Waters

This morning, after a hearty breakfast at your hotel, you’ll depart northward on a scenic drive through rolling hills and olive groves toward the extraordinary archaeological site of Jerash — one of the best-preserved Roman provincial cities in the world.

As you pass through the ancient Hadrian’s Arch, you’ll step into a world frozen in time. With your expert guide, explore a Roman city complete with colonnaded streets, vast forums, temples, and even a chariot-racing hippodrome. The city once rivalled Petra in grandeur, and its ruins still echo with the energy of an empire long gone.

From Jerash, the journey continues through forested mountains to the 12th-century Ajloun Castle, an impressive Islamic fortress built by the forces of Saladin to defend against Crusader invasions. The view from its ramparts is spectacular — on a clear day, you can see as far as the Jordan Valley and into the West Bank.

Later in the afternoon, you’ll descend to the lowest point on Earth: the Dead Sea, resting over 430 metres below sea level. Upon arrival, check in to your luxurious waterfront hotel and enjoy a well-earned rest.

Then… it’s time to float! Head to the hotel’s private beach and experience the surreal sensation of floating effortlessly in the mineral-rich waters. You can also lather your skin with the famous Dead Sea mud, known worldwide for its therapeutic and rejuvenating properties.

As the sun dips low over the salt-crusted shoreline, return to your hotel for a delicious dinner and a tranquil evening beside these ancient, healing waters.

Day 04 Dead Sea – Madaba, Mount Nebo, Shobak Castle & Arrival in Petra

Wake up to the stillness of the Dead Sea and enjoy a leisurely breakfast with sweeping views of its shimmering surface. Today is a journey through faith, legend, and the ancient roadways of prophets and crusaders — a day that gently builds toward the timeless majesty of Petra.

Your first stop is Madaba, often called “The City of Mosaics.” Here, you’ll visit the famous Greek Orthodox Church of St. George, home to the oldest surviving Byzantine mosaic map of the Holy Land — an intricate, 6th-century masterpiece made of over 2 million tiles. Your guide will help you decode its depiction of Jerusalem, the Dead Sea, and biblical sites as seen through the eyes of early Christian pilgrims.

A short drive from Madaba takes you to Mount Nebo, the mountain where tradition holds that Moses stood to view the Promised Land before his death. From its serene summit, you’ll take in panoramic views stretching across the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and on clear days, even Jerusalem. This site is sacred to all three Abrahamic faiths and carries a profound spiritual energy.

Your journey continues southward, passing through scenic hills and fruit orchards toward Shobak Castle — a 12th-century Crusader fortress once known as Montreal. Perched high on a rocky hill, the castle tells stories of siege and survival. You’ll explore its tunnels, battlements, and ancient wells — a quiet reminder of the age-old conflict between East and West.

By evening, you’ll arrive in Petra, the jewel of Jordan and one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World. As the desert air cools and the rose-colored mountains begin to glow, you’ll check into your luxurious hotel and enjoy a well-deserved dinner. Tonight, rest well — tomorrow, you walk through history itself.

Day 05 Petra – A Full Day in the Legendary Rose-Red City

Today is a day that will stay with you forever. After breakfast at your hotel, set out early to explore the magnificent ancient city of Petra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the New Seven Wonders of the World.

With your expert local guide leading the way, begin your journey through the narrow, winding Siq — a dramatic sandstone gorge flanked by towering cliffs. As you follow its path, anticipation builds until suddenly, through the shadows, the first glimpse of Petra’s most iconic monument reveals itself: Al-Khazneh, the Treasury.

Carved directly into the rose-hued rock face, the Treasury is an awe-inspiring sight — a Hellenistic masterpiece believed to have been the tomb of a Nabataean king. Your guide will share the stories, myths, and archaeological insights behind Petra’s most photogenic façade.

But this is just the beginning. Petra spans over 60 square kilometres, with temples, tombs, and staircases carved into the cliffs. Explore the Street of Facades, the Roman-style amphitheatre, and the Royal Tombs, each bearing intricate carvings and monumental scale.

Those with a sense of adventure may choose to ascend to the Monastery (Ad-Deir), a massive rock-cut structure perched high in the mountains, or hike up to the High Place of Sacrifice for panoramic views over the valley.

As the afternoon light deepens, Petra transforms — its sandstone walls reflecting warm shades of orange, crimson, and violet. Take this time to wander at your own pace, capturing the city’s spirit through your lens or in quiet reflection.

In the evening, return to your hotel in Petra for a relaxing dinner and well-earned rest after a full day immersed in ancient wonder.

This UNESCO-protected desert landscape is unlike anything else on Earth — vast stretches of red sand, towering granite and sandstone mountains, and silence so deep you can almost hear the wind paint patterns in the dunes.

Upon arrival, hop into 4x4 jeeps and begin your desert safari, guided by local Bedouins who know this land like the lines on their palms. Cruise over crimson sands, stop to admire ancient Nabataean inscriptions, and marvel at natural rock formations like the Mushroom Rock and Um Fruth Bridge.

As the sun begins to set, painting the desert in gold and fire, you’ll arrive at your luxury desert camp nestled between the cliffs. There, your hosts will greet you with traditional Bedouin hospitality.

Tonight, savour a delicious dinner cooked in the Zarb — an underground Bedouin oven — and gather around the campfire for tea, music, and unforgettable stargazing under a crystal-clear sky.
