Visit the Valley of the Kings, enter royal tombs, stand before the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, explore Karnak’s grand colonnades, and see the Colossi of Memnon. Includes hotel or cruise pickup, guide, and all entrance fees.
Your personal Egyptologist guide will meet you at your hotel, cruise ship, or airport in Luxor for a day filled with timeless wonders on both sides of the Nile.
Begin your adventure on the West Bank, where the mighty pharaohs of the New Kingdom were laid to rest in hidden tombs carved deep into the Theban cliffs. Explore three of these royal tombs, richly decorated with scenes of the afterlife.
Optional: Entry to King Tutankhamun or Seti I tombs can be arranged on request.
Next, visit Deir el-Bahari, where the majestic mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut rises from the desert in dramatic terraces. Hear stories of the queen who ruled as a pharaoh and see her divine birth depicted in reliefs.
Pause briefly to admire the towering Colossi of Memnon, two 18-meter statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III that have guarded the Theban necropolis for over 3,000 years.
Cross to the East Bank to explore the enormous Temple of Karnak, the largest religious structure ever built. Walk through the awe-inspiring Hypostyle Hall with its 134 giant columns, see obelisks, sacred lakes, and chapels dedicated to Amun-Ra and other deities.
If time permits, you may also visit the Luxor Temple, beautifully illuminated in the afternoon sun or early evening glow.
Return to your hotel or cruise ship with unforgettable memories of one of the greatest open-air museums on Earth.
