As our flight touches down in Cairo, the land of the pharaohs opens her arms to welcome us. At the airport, a warm Anteros Travel representative will greet us and assist with arrival formalities before our private transfer whisks us to the heart of the city.
Tonight, we check into the Baron Hotel Cairo – 4★ (or similar), a quiet sanctuary near the city’s historic Heliopolis district. As dusk settles over Cairo, we raise a glass to the beginning of a story long in the making.
This morning, we set out on a breathtaking adventure — a private guided tour to the Great Pyramids of Giza, those magnificent marvels we once saw in picture books. We’ll stand in awe at the base of Khufu’s pyramid, wander through the sands beside the Great Sphinx, and feel the whispers of the ancients.
Next, we’ll step into the timeless halls of the Egyptian Museum, home to treasures of Tutankhamun and thousands of artifacts that hold the soul of this civilization. Around midday, a delicious lunch awaits us at a traditional Egyptian restaurant.
In the afternoon, we’ll lose ourselves in the vibrant heart of Khan El Khalili Bazaar — a mosaic of scent and sound, of silks and spices, where time itself feels suspended. As the sun dips low, we return to our hotel, our hearts full and eyes wide.
After breakfast, we bid farewell to Cairo and journey by private transfer to the Red Sea’s El Sokhna coast, where peace laps against golden shores. The desert road unravels before us like a ribbon through the mountains until it meets the sea.
