Sail the Nile at sunrise into the Valley of the Kings, a silent desert canyon hiding the tombs of pharaohs from Egypt’s golden age. Step into the tomb of Ramses VI, where glowing wall paintings narrate the journey through the underworld. Optionally, you may enter the modest yet haunting tomb of Tutankhamun, where the world’s most famous archaeological find was uncovered in 1922.
Continue to the Temple of Hatshepsut, a vision of elegance built into the cliffs of Deir el-Bahari. Learn the story of Egypt’s most powerful female ruler and the mystery of how her legacy was almost erased from history.
End the morning at the Colossi of Memnon, two giant statues standing watch over the Theban necropolis. Though weathered by time, they still emanate majesty.

Sail serenely down the Nile to Kom Ombo, where a rare double temple honors two opposing gods: Sobek, the crocodile god of the Nile and fertility, and Horus the Elder, the falcon god of kingship and war.
As you walk between the symmetrical halls, your guide will reveal how the temple reflects harmony between chaos and order. See depictions of surgical tools etched into the stone — an ancient nod to Egyptian medicine.
Before returning to the ship, visit the Crocodile Museum, where dozens of mummified crocodiles rest behind glass — once worshipped, now preserved as eerie relics.

This morning is a tribute to Egypt’s engineering triumphs — both ancient and modern. Begin with a visit to the towering Aswan High Dam, a 20th-century marvel that forever changed the Nile’s rhythm and created Lake Nasser. It’s a reminder of how this river, once feared for its floods, was finally tamed.
From there, you’ll board a small boat and cruise across the deep blue waters to Philae Temple, a true jewel of the Nile. Once threatened by rising waters, the temple was painstakingly moved, stone by stone, to its current island sanctuary. Dedicated to Isis, the goddess of love and magic, this temple exudes a graceful serenity — its colonnades, sanctuaries and carvings bathed in the golden light of the sun. Your guide will explain the myths of Osiris and Isis, and how her cult spread across the ancient world.
In the afternoon, visit the Nubian Museum, a modern architectural gem that preserves the rich legacy of the Nubian people — whose culture, language, and art have shaped southern Egypt for thousands of years. Discover ancient jewellery, tools, and even horse armour — all telling stories of a proud civilisation.
Included Visits: Private tour of the Aswan High Dam, Philae Temple, and Nubian Museum
Accommodation: MS Nile Plaza (or similar)
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner onboard
Today, enjoy a relaxed morning in Aswan — a city beloved for its calm, sun-drenched charm and warm Nubian spirit. You may wish to join an optional excursion to the Great Temples of Abu Simbel, a UNESCO treasure built by Ramses II. These colossal statues, cut into solid rock and aligned to the sun, are among the most astonishing monuments in Egypt.
In the afternoon, set sail the traditional way — aboard a felucca, Egypt’s graceful wooden sailboat. As the white sail catches the breeze, glide quietly along the Nile’s edge, passing Elephantine Island and the lush gardens of Kitchener’s Island. The view of desert sands melting into blue waters is pure poetry.
Included Visit: Felucca ride on the Nile
Accommodation: MS Nile Plaza (or similar)
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner onboard
As the ship journeys back north, enjoy a leisurely morning on deck with tea in hand, watching life unfold on the riverbanks. Later, stop at Edfu, home to one of Egypt’s best-preserved temples: the Temple of Horus, built during the Ptolemaic era.
Dedicated to the falcon god Horus, this temple feels like stepping into a time capsule. The towering entrance pylons, intact roof, and detailed reliefs depict epic battles and rituals from the mythological struggle between Horus and Seth. Your guide will share the meanings behind these ancient stories and how this temple served as a centre of religious life.
Return to your ship as it continues sailing toward Esna, where you’ll dock for the night.
Optional Visit: Temple of Horus at Edfu (recommended)
Accommodation: MS Nile Plaza (or similar)
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner onboard
Today you arrive in Luxor, once known as Thebes, the mighty capital of the New Kingdom and now an 'open-air museum' unlike any other on Earth.
Begin your afternoon on the East Bank, where two spectacular temples await. First, the sprawling Karnak Temple Complex, one of the largest religious structures ever built. Enter through giant pylons into the awe-inspiring Hypostyle Hall, where 134 enormous sandstone columns rise like a petrified forest. The sheer scale of the architecture — and its precise astronomical alignments — are humbling.
Next, visit Luxor Temple illuminated by the soft afternoon sun. Unlike Karnak, this temple was used continuously into Roman times and still bears Christian and Islamic layers within its ancient stones. Walk along the Avenue of Sphinxes once used for festivals, and imagine the centuries of worship, celebration, and empire that passed through this sacred space.
Included Visit: Private guided tour of Karnak and Luxor Temples
Accommodation: MS Nile Plaza (or similar)
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner onboard
After breakfast, it’s time to bid farewell to the wonders of the Nile and the gracious crew who made your cruise unforgettable. You’ll be transferred to Luxor Airport for your return flight.
From ancient tombs to mighty temples, from sailing the Nile to walking in the footsteps of pharaohs — you leave Egypt not just with photos, but with memories that stir the soul.
Included: Private transfer to Luxor Airport
